    Hackney Bridge is easily accessible by public transport and is just a 5-minute walk from Hackney Wick Station. Stratford Station is also within walking distance and offers connections via the Central, Jubilee, Elizabeth, DLR, Overground and National Rail lines.

    We recommend using Citymapper or Google Maps to plan your journey in advance.

    There is no dedicated event parking at Hackney Bridge. There is paid parking at St. Elizabeth Multi Story Car Park & Westfield Stratford.

    Where possible, we encourage visitors to travel by public transport, cycle or walk.

    To ensure a smooth entry:

    • Download your ticket or have your QR code ready.
    • Check your session time before travelling.
    • Bring a fully charged phone.
    • Carry valid photo ID (adult ticket holders).
    • Travel light to help speed up security checks.

    Please note that tickets are valid only for the session booked. Double-check your ticket confirmation before travelling.

    From Caribbean classics and African specialities to soul food, desserts, vegan dishes, seafood and global flavours, we recommend arriving hungry and taking a full lap of the site before deciding where to eat first.

    Popular traders may experience queues during peak times.

    Black Eats Fest operates primarily as a cashless event. All traders accept card and contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

  • Rain or Shine

    The festival goes ahead whatever the weather. While much of the event takes place outdoors, Hackney Bridge also offers covered and indoor spaces so you can continue enjoying the experience.

  • Families

    Our 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM daytime sessions are open to all ages and are ideal for families.

    Please note that 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM evening sessions are strictly 18+, and children attending daytime sessions must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Accessibility

    The event is hosted across two levels with stair access only (no lift). An accessible entrance to the garden is available alongside the river.
