Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Tickets cannot be exchanged.
WHAT IS BLACK EATS FEST?
Black Eats Fest is a food and culture festival celebrating Afro-Caribbean food, drink, and retail. It brings together a curated lineup of top traders, offering everything from street food favourites to emerging concepts, alongside great music and live DJs.
Designed as a high-energy, community-led experience, the festival creates a vibrant space to eat, drink, discover new brands, and connect with culture across a series of carefully curated sessions.
WHERE IS THE NEXT FESTIVAL?
Black Eats Fest takes place at Hackney Bridge in East London.
The nearest station is Hackney Wick Station, served by the London Overground (Mildmay line), just a short walk from the venue. Stratford station is also within walking distance, with access to the Central line, Jubilee line, DLR, London Overground, and National Rail services.
Local bus routes serving the area include the 26, 30, 236, 276, 339, 388, and D8.

How do the sessions work?
Black Eats Fest runs across two sessions each day.
12–4 (Day Session): A more relaxed daytime experience, ideal for groups and families, with full access to food, drinks, and music in a lighter atmosphere. Suitable for all ages.
5–9 (Evening Session): A higher-energy evening setting with DJs, a livelier crowd, and the same great food and drink offering. This session is for those aged 18 and over.
The same food, drink, and trader experiences are available across both sessions, so you won’t miss out.
Please note the venue is closed between sessions, and staying throughout is not possible.
CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE DOOR?
Tickets are not available at the door & will likely sell out before the event. Online advance purchase is advised. Online sales only.
WHAT DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE?
Your ticket gives you entry to your selected session, access to all traders, music, and the full event experience. Food and drink are purchased separately.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE?
You can enter up to 30 mins before your session ends, but please note sessions are time-limited and end promptly. Arrive early to make the most of the experience.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Yes, the 12–4 session is suitable for all ages.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Only assistance dogs are permitted on site. No other pets are allowed.
IS ID REQUIRED?
Yes, a valid ID may be required for entry to the 5–9 session and for alcohol purchases.
ARE THERE VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN OPTIONS?
Yes, a range of traders will offer vegetarian and vegan dishes.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO TRADERS ACCEPT?
This is a cashless event; credit cards, Apple Pay, and contactless payments are accepted.
IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?
The event is hosted across two levels with stairs only (no lift), and there is an accessible entrance to the garden alongside the river. Please find Hackney Bridge’s Inclusive Access Statement HERE.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?
There is no parking at the venue. Hackney Wick station is a 5 min walk, or you can park at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park multi-storey car park or Stratford Westfield.
